The party finder system has been reworked into the game creator. This will be done by allowing the player to join “any number of game sites in your region that you have a strong enough connection to.” Furthermore, the game list is being expanded from 20 to 40 entries and will refresh in real-time provided the player manually selects the refresh button. The issue of a lack of games appearing in player lists is being addressed by the expansion of the number of viable games the player can join. The new patch focuses primarily on improving the game-finding process for both console and PC players. Other new features include new Set Dungeons (extremely difficult dungeons that test players against players with a full six-piece class set), Season Rebirths, the removal of Season-exclusive rewards, the debut of console-style Action Combat on PC, and over 50 new Legendary powers. New content here includes new enemies, loot, and lore. Existing areas have also been expanded, with the Eternal Woods, The Ruins of Sescheron, and Leoric's Manor all seeing new areas opened up for exploration. Accessing this new area is as simple as heading to Act 5 in Adventure Mode and clicking on the upper-right of the map. The answers to the mysteries of this new area lie within, but players will have to survive its horrors first. Patch 2.4.0 introduces Greyhollow Island, a new forested region filled with new enemies with mysterious origins. But before Season 5 begins, Blizzard has dropped the game's 2.4.0 patch to the public, offering a slew of changes, additions, and rewards to all players. A whole new season of Diablo III play is set to begin on January 15.
